GRAPHOS

They are subtle gestures, almost like seals or tattoos that imprint themselves onto the canvas, suggesting a primitive code or message. Within a basic and austere chromatic range, this series—born from my exploration with industrial paint, acrylic, and other materials—connects to a more ancient memory, where the stroke invokes.

The graphos emerge as essential marks, echoes of a primary need to leave a trace: to exist, to point, to belong. They carry an almost ritual intention, as if each figure were a footprint.

In their apparent simplicity, this series seeks to evoke the earliest attempts of human beings to communicate with the world: cave markings, ancestral signs, gestures charged with presence, scribbles… Here, language is essential—raw, direct, silent, and entirely unpretentious.
